The Tourbograph "Pour le Mérite" can be purchased in New York City, Dresden, Shanghai, and Tokyo. Like Glashütte Original, the company is based in the former East Germany. After the Soviet occupation, the region’s once-thriving watchmaking industry foundered. Lange, which had been founded in 1845, shut down and was revived in 1990. Today it is part of the Richemont Group.
