- Actor/model Drew Waters was born in Akron, Ohio, and later relocated with his family to Orange, Texas. After high school, Drew served four years in the Navy stationed in Virginia Beach, VA where he quickly made rank and was responsible for over 85 F/A-14 fighters. After competing in and winning a modeling contest with 3,500 entrants, Drew was scouted by several modeling agencies which led to a successful modeling career following the end of his enlistment where he worked on ad campaigns for designers like Ralph Lauren, Prada and Structure and was in publications such as GQ, Vogue , Men’s Fitness and more. Drew realized his dream of acting following the suggestion of world-renowned photographer Bruce Weber. Some of the films Drew has appeared in are: "Blonde Ambition," starring Jessica Simpson and Luke Wilson, "Major Movie Star" with Jessica Simpson, "Mad Money" starring Katie Holmes and Diane Keaton, "Wonderful World" with Matthew Broderick, and "W" starring Josh Brolin. He was the guest-starring lead of the episodic "Prayer of the Bone," wrapped an episode of AMC's critically-acclaimed "Breaking Bad," and has a recurring role in the Texas-based NBC series "Friday Night Lights" where he played Coach Wade Aikmen. Drew recently finished three movies, "Hit List" with Cuba Gooding Jr. and Cole Hauser, "Legend of Hells Gate," and "Breaking the Press" playing the lead as Joe Conaghey. Drew is currently creating and producing a "Vetted" a corvette series, A short film "Nouvelle Vie" , Documentary called "Life" and directed/ produced "Art Junkies" a television show.
