About Me: The Founder of Bagaceous™ Louisa Catharine, began her love of designing at the age of five much to the consternation of her mother when she was found “redesigning” part of her mother’s treasured jewelry collection.

Her love of designing never ceased and while still at school she began her first company in partnership with an older friend. Their business was fashion based, with a number of clothing lines of which they outsourced eighty percent of the manufacture.

This enabled Louisa Catharine to complete her schooling while running a successful business simultaneously. Seeing a gap in the market for bespoke jewelry, her focus turned once more towards accessories and as a result, Bagaceous™ was born.

Louisa Catharine’s bespoke jewelry has been featured in the US since she created her first sea glass and waxed linen piece in shades of the sea in 2005. A commission piece for a ‘daylight photographer’ of note, worn to the artist’s exhibition in Maine. Having lived in USA she retains close ties with all who she met within the film industry and regularly attends Film Festival Events.

Louisa Catharine exhibits her work worldwide at shows, be they runway fashion such as at Couture Fashion Week in USA with Andres Aquino, boutique shows such at the Trump Tower in New York, Fashion Week Cannes and Fashion/Art events in Europe.

Created in memory of two very special people and now also a lasting legacy to her late brother, Mark, his love of art, design and architecture will live on. Louisa Catharine’s designs have led her into entertainment after her first Red Carpet Order and since 2006 she has also been involved in the production side of the film industry as a financial broker.

Awarded the 2010 Global Citizenship Award For Leadership In Helping Humanity, in NYC by Orphans International Worldwide, she carries on her humanitarian work in between events.

2011 saw Louisa Catharine open Fashion Week Cannes during the Film Festival and this led to a number of further events in Europe. Specializing in couture one off pieces of jewelry, her exceptional clientele are based worldwide.

2012 will include a range of beachwear, watch this space for more updates and photoshoots…
