She sings, dances, and is a master storyteller. She will welcome you as part of her family the first time you meet her after a show. She has transformed the lives of her fans with her beautiful smile and southern hospitality while delivering poignant ballads that move you to tears of hope. She is Country Music's own, Petrella.

Born and raised in Hot Springs, Arkansas, Petrella is one of the most accomplished female country stars with a loyal fan base that stands for pure country that she delivers with a natural finesse. She has been referred to as the First Lady of Country Soul pure and true to the music.

Inspired by the other female country artists like Dolly Parton, Reba McIntyre, and Wynona Judd, Petrella trail blazed American country music upon her arrival to the Music City, Nashville, Tennessee with a number of recorded hit singles that have held their own in top charting action on Billboard charts. With her energetic live show performances, she has garnered fans around the world who are inspired by her pure spirit and talent.

This year of 2012 she has a lot to celebrate. As a Country Music Artist, Petrella has recorded six albums including her most recent project “100 Proof Woman” distributed by Warner Music Group.

Petrella’s most recent single “I Want to Know You Forever,” reached number 14 on the Hot Country Single Sales chart in Billboard Magazine catapulting Petrella to the position of a seasoned successful female recording artist in Country Music. As an African American female country artist, she is one of the first to achieve this level of success as well as maintaining longevity to her career as a musical artist.

When it comes to her live show, she is comparable to the legendary “Tina Turner” with a pinch of “Dolly” when it comes to her style and essence. She can make you dance. She can make you think. She can educate you without saying she’s teachin’ you.

She recently returned to Nashville where she went in the studio with veterans Jack Gale, producer of Petrella’s first album, along with Jim Pierce, keyboard player, arranger, and session leader.

“This is a special time for all of us,” Petrella says, “we are all excited to work together again and to celebrate all of the success we have achieved as individuals.”

According to sources, there is a buzz in the industry currently that Petrella is being vetted to work on a hot new one woman show honoring the legacy of her inspiration, Ruby Falls.

In a recent interview, Petrella shares,” I went to the Country Music Hall of Fame and discovered a woman named Ruby Falls, who wrote, recorded, and performed country music with the same vocal content that I have and her style was very similar to mine. I was stunned.”

Based on her universal appeal and pure love for country, it is our prediction that Execs at CMT will come out on top of the ratings to vet Ms. Petrella to star in a Ruby Falls television special.Hint to CMT.
