At this point, we realize that Gaga’s character acting is raw and real in that we see her ability to capture the essence of both a man and a woman effortlessly in her role playing to the point that we believe they each individual is real. To sum it up best, Gaga is not only one of the most revolutionary artists of all time but also a true,natural Actress.



In YOU AND I, she not only plays a man and woman brilliantly but she also plays a Mermaid who is torn between her love for a man and her essential nature to swim at sea which combined with Gaga’s overall role playing of all of the characters involved in the video’s engaging storyline, makes this video by far one of her best productions to date.


YOU AND I is more than a music video. It is a mini avant garde artistic film about the joy of love and the difficulties of its challenges expressed via her portrayal of emotion and symbolic metaphors. This music video reveals to us all that Gaga has a place in not only the music world but as a qualified talent who has the innate acting gifts to grace the big screen as a veritable film actress.
